It is a beautiful November day in Truckee and we are all awaiting the promise of an epic winter full of perfect powder turns and holiday cheer. November is a time to catch up on much needed rest after an unbelievable summer full of activities and events that put you to bed late and get you up early. Although rest is good, snow is always on the mind. We’ve had our seemingly annual Halloween teaser storm that gets us jumping for joy and waxing our skis, only to leave us waiting until Thanksgiving to actually get on the mountain.
The snow can be unpredictable at best, but if there is one thing you can count on in Truckee/Tahoe, it is abundant sunshine in the summer and a plethora of events to attend. Summer keeps you in constant forward motion, which was most definitely the direction that the Gray’s Crossing community went this year.
It all started in January when I took on a portfolio listing of 81 homesites owned by LDK Capital out of Sacramento, CA. My team and I simply whispered the word of golf course frontage homesites for sale and it took on a life of its own. Year-to-date, Gray’s Crossing has sold over 85 homesites, 10 single-family homes, and 2 townhomes. We are still seeing activity well into the fall season and have 22 of the 81 lot portfolio available for sale. All but one of these sites is prime golf course frontage within walking distance to the amenity core.
As the former Head Golf Professional of Gray’s Crossing, I have spent many hours of my life in this community and it was very rewarding to watch if flourish this summer. I appreciate how Gray’s Crossing truly embraces the word community as you can see from its biggest annual events; the HIGHFIVES Charity Golf Event benefiting injured athletes, the Gene Upshaw Memorial Golf Classic that benefits the Tahoe Forest Cancer Center, and the free Gray’s Crossing Summer Music Series. Our doors are open for everyone to enjoy. Whether you are an avid golfer, or just want to take pleasure in a fun atmosphere with great food and views of the Carson Range at the indoor/outdoor restaurant PJ’s, Gray’s is the gathering place for you, your family, and friends!
You can still come enjoy PJ’s at Gray’s Crossing open Thursday through Monday from 4-9pm with happy hour from 4-6pm until November 22nd.
