After a months-long search for the ideal candidate, we’re excited to announce new leadership at Tahoe Mountain Club. Lindsay Gwin brings over 20 years of hospitality experience to her role as TMCs’ new General Manager. In addition to her outstanding resume, Gwin was chosen for her proven ability to lead a team, said Club Owner Brian Helm.
“From Travis in the golf department to Mike in Membership and everyone in between, we have so many people at the club who are experts in their craft,” said Helm. “In hiring Lindsay, we were looking for a leader who could compliment the strengths of our already existing team and help guide them toward unmatched guest service.”
Gwin has decades of experience in resort management, hospitality, and restaurant operations. Her prior leadership roles include management of a ski resort, destination winery, and large-scale concert venue.
“In joining TMC I am excited to use my knowledge and passion for hospitality to bring our guest service, events, and amenities to the next level,” said Gwin. “True hospitality has the power to transform not just a member or guest’s experience, it can transform companies and communities.”
A Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, Gwin has her sights set on working with the Food & Beverage and Member Experience teams to curate updated dining experiences and unforgettable member events.
“I grew up spending quality time at the golf club my family was a part of, and those years created memories that have lasted a lifetime,” said Gwin. “I recognize that Tahoe Mountain Club creates those experiences for our members, and I am proud to be a part of that.”
In her time away from The Club, Gwin is a full-time mom. She lives in Truckee with her daughter Addison who is on the Palisades Tahoe Race Team. Gwin spends her free time skiing, mountain biking, and hiking.
