Activities:
I find myself often saying, “this is my favorite time of the year”, or “my favorite activity to do in Tahoe”. This past Tuesday was another one with my sons 4th Birthday and the annual expedition to the woods to find the perfect Christmas Tree. There are many areas close to home in Truckee to find a tree, but of course I wanted to make an adventure out of it and we found ourselves in the Plumas National Forest around 1 hour north of Truckee near Lake Davis. With a $10 permit we ventured into the wilderness and had a day of family fun and memories.
Not only is this a fun activity for the family, but you are actually contributing to a reduction of over-growth and fuels which is a big help to the forest service to maintain a healthy wilderness. Here is a link to a blog on cutting your own Christmas Tree: Christmas Tree Cutting Permits

PICK OF THE WEEK:
I had a chance to preview Stellar Residence #3 the other day as it was just furnished and it looks incredible. The collection should come to market in the next few weeks and I will be sure to update you with pricing and photos.
