Tahoe Truckee Market Update, August 27th, 2015 BY SHANE JONES

Market Update:
With the majority of schools back in session and Labor Day approaching we will start to see more focused real estate tours as we enter the heart of our selling season. As mentioned a few weeks ago, we typically see up to 35% more sales in the second half of any given year. July reported a total sales volume of ($109,304,945) which was the first month this year to crest nine figures at an average sales price of ($815,708) with year-to-date highs for total sales at (134).

With many of these sales taking place in resort communities I am often asked the question regarding rental potential to help defer some costs of ownership.
