Tahoe Truckee Market Update, February 13th, 2020

Greetings –

The sun is shining and and the spring like corn skiing is as fun as it gets.  It was nice to get a little fresh air and enjoy some backcountry skiing under crisp blue skies with great views of the Lake.  My kids have also enjoyed getting out of school early every Friday to end the day on the slopes with their weekly ski program.  Skiing is such a fun family experience to enjoy each others company and great conversation on the chairlift.  We are very excited to welcome all of the visitors to Truckee/Tahoe for President’s week and look forward to some fun days on the slopes.

Luxury Home Preview Tour

Zuri Coffee Co.
I also wanted to share with you my favorite coffee shop to visit before you hit the slopes.  Zuri Coffee Co. located on Donner Pass Road in Truckee next to the DMV is a place you need to visit.  It reminds me of a classic Swiss café with a breakfast and lunch menu that will keep you coming back for more.  Having the owner, Werner, on hand to say hi and make sure your food is to your liking, adds to the ambiance and great experience you will have.  There are many great coffee shops in Truckee and I love visiting them all.  This is a great new addition that I know you will enjoy.  My favorites are the Chocolate Croissants and the Brienne sandwich – classic baguette with brie, bacon and caramelized onion with with the green salad and of course an 8oz cup of coffee.  Here is a link to their website: Zuri Coffee Co.
