The perfect storm of abundant snow and clear skies over the holiday brought skiers from far and wide to Northstar who handled it without a hitch from this view point. Similarly, real estate showings have swelled with the crowds continuing to fuel optimism for a strong winter season and a deep snowpack to ski well into spring. With the “Miracle March” on the horizon we hope for plentiful snow to keep the buzz around town and smiles on everyone’s faces as they enjoy one of the few sports that can be truly enjoyed as a family together with all members participating. As a father of two young boys I can attest that skiing is the greatest family event for me as we gather all generations to enjoy the outdoors. Most significantly, Stellar Residence #3 just went pending yesterday at $3.6M which is the 3rd property of the Stellar Collection to go pending in the last six weeks. Including the pending Ritz residence, this brings the total dollar volume of pending in Mountainside at Northstar to $10,445,000 which is only $261,125 less than total sales volume in 2015. This is a great indicator for the market up here as many of our deals are consummated in the spring after families have visited multiple times throughout the winter creating memories they want to replicate.
