THE BIG 3 KICKING OFF THE SEASON

Greetings –
My three year old son is very excited as we are going skiing this Saturday! The local ski areas are opening ahead of schedule and with the natural snowfall and cold temps we should be treated to some good corduroy on fresh groomers. It is so much fun to play with the little ones in the snow and watch them discover. Below is a quick update on the big 3 ski areas.

Alpine Meadows: Opens today, Thursday November 12th with a base of 23 in. The Kangaroo lift will be operating from 9-4pm with the one run, but it is a great start to get the legs warmed up and kids excited.

Squaw Valley: Opens this Saturday November 14th with a base of 23 in. They have Gold Coast Express and SnoVentures on the schedule for Saturday. SnoVentures is a great area to let the kids play and run around in the snow in between ski laps. It has easy access for Mom and Dad to park the car right near the chairlift and enjoy a picnic with the family.

Northstar: Opens this Saturday November 14th with the Comstock Express and Vista Express on the schedule. Northstar will be serving Starbucks coffee “Jet Pack” style for guests at the base of the Big Springs Gondola from 7:45 to 9am. Of course, Northstar will also have the signature complimentary S’mores around the ice rink at 3:30pm. You can also get your EpicMix photo taken behind the stage and ice rink by the season pass office between the hours of 8-3pm.

PICK OF THE WEEK:
After a fun day on the slopes of Northstar and S’mores at the ice rink, you can enjoy the contemporary boutique feel of the elegant One Village Place with this turn key 3 bed 3.5 bath at 1922 sq. ft.
