Backed by Gray’s Crossing Hospitality, Huff Construction, and H-CPM, the new hotel will be part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio and aims to open in early 2028.
Set against the backdrop of the Sierra Nevada, The Mtn Scout is designed to become a year-round hub for locals and visitors alike, offering access to skiing, hiking, biking, and lake adventures. Guests can expect modern mountain-inspired architecture, a whiskey lounge, courtyard hot tubs, fire pits, a full-service restaurant, and gear valet for outdoor excursions.
The hotel’s standout design—from Andrew Goodwin Designs and Sixteenfifty Creative Intelligence—blends Truckee’s rich history with upscale, nature-inspired living.
